Overtake

So, let's talk about this year! For me, I would have to say that this was a year of GREAT pressure but GREAT victories as well. I felt EVERYTHING. I was in a pressure cooker in a lot of situations, nevertheless, I have to say that I'm very proud of myself because I am one step closer to mastering the "Art of Responding".

In the words of my tete "Forgive yourself" has been what I have constantly had to say and do because I don't always pass this test! ( I have had to retake many) I mean its not just the responses I give that fueled by anger, offense or emotions that I had to work on but my petty responses. Oh! And let's not forget my sarcastic responses (that's my big one). Nevertheless, I'm proud of myself! Yes, the pressure to respond immaturely was great at the time but I overcame with a great victory in the end.

I said all of that to say this; God can and will give you the strength to overtake! I know we are at the end of the year. And a lot of times we spend a great deal of time reflecting on how we can do things better in the new year, that we forget the great victories we had, having, and going to in our current year. STOP DOING THAT! You did GREAT this year, plus the year NOT over! Geesh!Don't clock out so soon!

In 2017 God gave me the strength to overtake not only how I would respond but many other things as well. The pressure was thick this year, but victory prevailed then and always will! I'm confident in God because the work he started this year, last year, and even at birth he will complete it! God's makes everything beautiful in his timing and whatever is not beautiful now or in my opinion will be later! Trust me! The pressure of this year did not overtake you; strength and endurance helped you gain great victories. So, don't stop! We have 27 days left and what does that mean? It means I have 27 days to overtake something else! Pressure good or bad can produce an AMAZING result. Don't cave to it, dig your feet into the ground and go get it!
