SHUT UP AND LISTEN!

Now I know that sound harsh but that is exactly how it was told to me. I remember it like it was yesterday….it’s still ringing in my ear. Have you ever had one of those days, where you feel like nothing is going right…you’re tired…. you want to give up…and you keep whining to God about this and that? That’s exactly where I found myself one morning. Just drained! Full of Complaint! And honestly, I was very frustrated. I thought that by expressing these things to God that it would change things in an instant, but Instead the Lord checked me.

SHUT UP AND LISTEN was the instruct that stopped me in my tracks!

You know it's funny; that we expect to talk, talk, talk, and then never wait for the answer. We don’t want our natural friends and family to do that to us. That was just “READ” I needed that day. The moment I apologized for approaching God any kind of way (um He’s a KING) and got quiet I realize the answers were right in front of me.

LIFE IS FULL OF NOISE!

And we have to make it a discipline every day to make sure nothing overpowers his voice! There is a song by Dante Bowe called, “Voice of God” that describes hearing God in EVERYTHING. The father loves when we talk to him but it's something so special about letting him speak back to you! He doesn’t want us to be discouraged, disgruntle, or confused about anything. He’s a good father that takes good care of his own. I’m learning more and more every day that a lot of the stuff I think about and need…... HE ALREADY KNEW and GUESS WHAT? He already has the answer! We just need to..........Yep, you guessed it!

Never abandon or forget the strength, wisdom, strategy, love, comfort, safety, understanding, clarity, and peace you experience from the voice of God...YOUR FATHER. Clear out the noise and let him speak to you and even through in EVERYTHING! Your life depends on his leading!
