MIC CHECK! I am Char’meka Danielle, most know me as a Mother, daughter, sister, niece, or just friend...... But that's not where this story begins!

2015 my mind was cluttered and I was a walking dead man! Man’s approval was what I lived my life off of and when things failed me; my life seemed to be a lost cause. This is when Romans 8:28 found me and became my motto: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose, and out of my darkest time, One Mic was birthed!

One Mic, is a conversation with God and me! No one’s opinion, thought, influence, acceptance, validation; just him! It was in this place I got to know God for myself. So, I pray you are blessed and challenged to engage in conversation with your heavenly father. Whether it’s through dance, drawing, singing, playing an instrument, whatever, get to know God for yourself. You would be surprised at how much God says concerning you! My heart’s desire is to see a generation of youth and young adults pursue God and live for him unapologetically, whether accepted or not!
